My Work in RPA
I contribute to execution of Digital Transformation projects using RPA technology suite. I perform gap analysis, develop functional understanding and holistic view of the business processes. I drive project execution of process improvements through the use of Lean/Agile techniques and through structured project governance. I have played a key role in designing solution for automation of 40+ processes for multiple customers.

MIRO Automation
Automation of 'Accounts Payable' process which involves extraction of relevant data from non- native invoice PDFs using UiPath's Document Understanding and OCR models, followed by data entry into SAP and sending notifications to finance team for validation and clearing payments.

Employee Offboarding Process
Business Users send an email to the BOT with an excel attachment listing down all the employees to be offboarded. BOT reads the email, picks the email ID of the employee to be offboarded. Based on the email ID domain, the bot removes the employee from the concerned email groups in the domain. Secondly, BOT deactivates the email ID. Thirdly the bot fetches the employee’s SAP user ID from a reference excel file, logs into SAP and locks SAP ID. Fourthly, the BOT downloads SAP BO reports excel from the Client’s NetWeaver application, replaces the employee ID with admin ID in all the sheets, and re-uploads the updated BO report to the portal. Lastly, the BOT deactivates the Biometric Credentials of the employee and sends a consolidated mail to the admin team notifying them of the details of each step.

Dispatch Details to Customers
BOT logs into SAP NetWeaver web app, exports Dispatch Detail PDFs against 20 customer Codes/Group, extracts tables from non-native PDF’s, performs validations on table data, and sends WhatsApp notifications to each customer along with attached PDF’s

Schedule vs BOQ Linking
The customer's project BOQ typically consists of more than 2000 line items. Similarly, the Project Schedule consists of around 500 to 700 activities. The bot will download Project BOQ and Schedule information from ERP in excel format and performs the linking actions with respect to floor-wise quantities. Post linking, BOT also performs quantity validations so that sum of all quantities of each item is matching as per BOQ. Introducing a bot in this process reduced TAT from 7 days to 5 hours.
